Description
The Scorpion DC is designed for a wide range of fishing styles, featuring a low-inertia MGL spool that offers smooth startup and efficient casting. The deeper spool provides ample line capacity, giving flexibility to adjust for different target species and techniques. Equipped with Micromodule Gear, it delivers a refined cranking feel with reduced gear noise. The I-DC5 brake system allows fine-tuned adjustments to braking force to match various lure weights and conditions. With three available gear ratios — from standard to extra-high — this reel is suitable for techniques ranging from bass fishing to certain inshore applications.
Specification Chart
    How to Choose Your Reel
RIGHT HAND or LEFT HAND?
- number end with "0": right hand
 - number end with "1": left hand

What is Gear Ratio?
6.2:1 (Standard/Moderate Speed)
- Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, swimbaits
More torque, easier to handle resistance, good bottom contact
Beginners or all-purpose anglers
7.4:1 (High Speed)
- Texas rigs, topwater, soft plastics, jerkbaits
Fast line pickup, better reaction control, efficient casting
Intermediate/advanced anglers with a faster pace
8.5:1 (Extra High Speed)
- Pitching/flipping, jigs, cover fishing
Super fast retrieve for quick hooksets and repositioning
Less torque, not ideal for heavy-resistance lures
If You’re Buying Multiple Reels
- 1 reel: Go with 7.4:1 for all-around performance.
 - 2 reels: Get a 6.2:1 and an 8.5:1 to cover slow and fast techniques.
 - 3 reels or more: Consider owning all three ratios to fully optimize for technique-specific fishing.
