Warranty Policy for Reels

At Lababass, we stand behind the quality of our products—whether brand new or pre-owned. We offer a limited warranty directly from our shop for both new and used gear, covering non-human, functional issues within a reasonable period after purchase.

1.New Reels – 90 days Warranty

All new reels purchased from Lababass come with a 90 days limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Covers non-human damages or manufacturing defects (e.g. gear failure, drag malfunction, internal issues).
Does not cover misuse, accidental damage, corrosion from saltwater exposure, or normal wear and tear.
If an issue arises within the warranty period, we will provide free repair and necessary parts replacement at no additional charge.
Products are inspected before shipping. If you notice an issue upon arrival or within the warranty period, please contact us with photos and videos for evaluation.

2.Pre-Owned (Used) Reels – 30 days Warranty

All used reels sold on Lababass are carefully inspected and rated. For extra peace of mind, we offer a 30-days functional warranty from the date of purchase.
Covers failure of essential mechanical functions not disclosed in the original product grading.
Does not cover general wear, surface scratches, or expected aging of parts.
If the item fails to function properly within 30 days after purchase under normal use, contact us for support.

3.Limitations

The warranty is void if the product has been disassembled, modified, or used improperly.
Return shipping for warranty claims may be the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Please Note:Lababass is an independent retailer. Most of our products are sourced directly from Japan or other Asian export suppliers.
Currently we are not an officially authorized dealer of Shimano, Daiwa, or other major Japanese brands in North America.
As a result, manufacturer warranties do not apply to products purchased through Lababass.Instead, all warranties and after-sales services are provided directly by Lababass according to the terms stated on this website.

If the item fails to function properly within 7 days after delivery under normal use, contact us for support.
